Last Thursday night, I was a guest speaker in the course unit of New Perspectives in Data Science at Universidade Portucalense (UPT), where I brought up the topic of data engineering vs. data Science.

A topic that I’ve been researching over the last month to align my professional expectations for the next year. During the session, I had the opportunity to describe data engineering and data science, delving into the different technologies, difficulties, and opportunities in these fields.

At the end of the session, we had a discussion where we shared various experiences and trends related to the topic, making this initiative a great learning experience for everyone involved.
